(+) Kardemir to request TRY44.0mn financial loss from Demsan Geri Donusum According to Capital Market Board’s decision, the company will request TRY44.0mn company’s financial loss of 30/04/2019 with the legal interest from Demsan Geri Donusum within 3 months. It is also stated that the legal proceedings will be started in case of any negative response to the decision by the interest party. Note that Demsan Geri Donusum was a contracting company that had signed an agreement with Kardemir to construct a slug crushing complex in 2015, based on the local newspapers. We think that the requested compensation is related with this construction phase. The market reaction would be slightly positive due to a potential collection of cash compensation which is supported by the authorities findings.
