(+) Doğuş Otomotiv: Volkswagen Türkiye'de yeni bir üretim tesisi kurulması görüşmelerini karara bağlamak üzere: Volkswagen'in üretimden sorumlu Yönetim Kurulu Üyesi Andreas Tostmann, Volkswagen’in Türkiye’de olası yatırımıyla ilgili görüşmelerin iki hafta ya da daha kısa sürede tamamlanmasını beklediğini söyledi. Habere göre tesis Manisa’da yıllık 300,000 adet üretim kapasitesiyle kurulacak ve 2022 yılında üretime başlayacak. Bu aşamada Doğuş Otomotiv’in bu yatırımın içinde yer alıp almayacağı belli değil. Ancak her iki durumda da Volkswagen’in dolayısıyla Doğuş Otomotiv’in Türkiye’deki konumlanmasının bir ölçüde güçleneceğini düşünüyoruz.
(+) Dogus Otomotiv: VW investment talks may be finalized soon / slightly positive: Andreas Tostmann, Member of the Board of Volkswagen responsible for production and logistics, stated that the talks held for VW’s EUR1bn investment in Turkey may be finalized in two weeks if not sooner. According to the report, the plant will be built in Manisa province with an annual production capacity of 300,000 cars. The plant is expected to start production in 2022. At this stage we do not know if Dogus Otomotiv will have any role in this investment or it will continue to solely carry-out the distribution business. In any case, we think that VW’s (hence Dogus Otomotiv’s) positioning in Turkey may strengthen to a degree while continuing reports regarding this investment may support the stock in the short-term.
