(+) The Government working to reform VAT scheme. The Government is working on a new system to reform current VAT scheme. The new system aims to reduce the VAT burden of the companies. In some sectors, the producers buy goods at 18% VAT rate but sells goods with a lower VAT rate. This s a VAT receivable burden on these companies – and it takes a long period for these companies to collect their VAT receivables from the Government. Although the details of the new scheme is not yet clear, the new practice may have a positive impact on cash flow of the related companies. We think these companies that may benefit from the new scheme could be construction companies, tractor producers and some food companies.
