(+) Brisa: Use of winter tires becomes mandatory for all cars driving on the intercity highways The new legislation states that between 1^st of December and 1^st of April all cars have to use winter tires while driving on the intercity highways. Previously, it had been mandatory for only commercial vehicles. The impact of the new legislation cannot be evaluated as  there is no information on the frequency/number of cars using intercity highways in the winter period. However, there should be an increase in the sales of winter tires in one way or another. Accordingly, we deem the new legislation to be positive for the stock performance.

Ulaştırma, Denizcilik ve Haberleşme Bakanlığı’nın yayınladığı tebliğe göre Türkiye’de 1 Aralık ile 1 Nisan arasındaki dört aylık dönemde bütün taşıtlara şehirlerarası yollarda kış lastiği kullanma zorunluluğu getirildi.
